Re-editing: Almost there

Over the weekend me and my group edited our film together. We knew we had to to finish our project soon. We only had to finish up somethings. For example, we have to put in all our new clips. We filmed the previous week. All we had to do was get together all of our clips. We filmed on Camilos phone and my phone. Camilo air dropped the videos to my computer. I then downloaded IMovie on my computer. IMovie downloaded and I dragged all the videos from my desktop to the application. Then we all got together and started looking at what transitions to put in. I started working out Wich clips we wanted and not. We then put all the titles in. This did not take too long. The film is almost finished. The peer review was very helpful. The way we knew what to put in was the peer review. Overall editing took about an hour. We all worked together to finished our film. Editing was fun overall.

Re-Editing: Looking Good

There were many adjustments my group made to our film. The peer edit helped us a lot. We could now know exactly what was wrong with our film. First, I added the scenes that we refilmed. This was easier than I thought. I thought it would make it look choppy and weird, but it looked the same. I fixed those scenes and put them into the film. Then the next thing I did to improve my film is to add the rest of the titles. We were lacking in the titles because they somehow got deleted, so I agreed to fix them. This went smoothly and did not take too long. It was convenient because I could go through what I was missing from the list. The film was deemed choppy, from the peer editors. So I went back into the film to try to fix it. We made the transitions smoother and shorter. This made the film look a lot better and less awkward. The re editing process helped our film a lot. Going back and fixing it very much helped the smoothness of the film. The peer editing made it easy. Our film is now close to done and it is looking very good.

Reshooting: the fun of filming

Over the weekend my group and I did many things to improve our film. I had the idea to re shoot some senes. One reason I thought this was because of the peer review. They said that some sense did not make sense. I understood that so I decided to get my group together on Sunday. I picked both my group members up and we started driving to the park. The weather was around the same as when we filmed the first time. We all made sure we where whereing the same clothes as we did on filming day. The filming process went mostly smooth. It started to rain witch made it difficult. We ended up going into the car and waited for the rain to pass. This did make the rest of the filming process difficult. Although we had some set backs we did end up finishing. The peer review very much helped us in this. We could see what scenes we still needed, for example, and establishing shot. This made it very easy to look on our paper and check off the things we have and haven’t done. The filming process was very fun. My group and I feel that we greatly improved our film. The peer review very much helped us with our process. 

Peer Review Blog: Mila and Jordyn

I enjoyed the film very much. It was a horror movie and you could obviously see that it was. It was very suspenseful. Most of the scenes were scary and interesting. My favorite part of the movie was when the girl called 911. She called 911 and directly after the man came into her room. This scene was very suspenseful and scary. The group worked very well, considering they only had two people. One thing I would critique about the film is the story. The story is hard to follow at some points. For example, there is a scene where she unites herself. The next scene was her untying herself again. Along with that there are some title problems that are easy to fix. For example, at the end of the movie they had some titles missing. They had all the labels but some had no names assigned to them. Some of the cuts and scenes were a little choppy. The movie was still very good and well put together. I think this group was very successful in creating their horror movie. I think the group will take the critiques into consideration. They will probably go back and fix the titles and some of the cuts. Overall the film was very good.
